Making an appointment and making it work for you.

If you are a patient and are seeing us for the first time, we generally request that you be referred by your primary care physician. This ensures efficient use of the healthcare resources available to you and allows us to focus only on the health issues relative to our specialty. Please provide your referring physician's name, address and phone number so we can communicate our findings to him/her in a timely manner.

If you are referring yourself for a second opinion or to change cardiologists, we will be happy to schedule an appointment for you.

It is necessary that we receive all of your records relative to your cardiac care prior to your visit. To schedule an appointment, please call our office.

Some insurance companies require that they receive documentation of a referral from the referring physician. If a referral is not obtained, the insurance company may refuse payment and the patient then becomes responsible for the bill. Please contact your insurance company prior to your appointment to ensure that any required referrals have been received.

Cancellations

All appointments are confirmed at least two business days before your appointment. Kindly give us 24-hours notice if you must cancel or reschedule your visit so that we may make the time available to other patients.
