Referring your patients

We know you are busy, and we want to make it as easy as possible for you to coordinate your patients' care. If there is something you think we can do better to help you with this, please e-mail our administrator, admin@heartspecialistsofohio.com, and give us your suggestions.

Your patient's care

All abnormal test results are telephoned to the referring physician the same day, with a hard copy of the results faxed or mailed by the next work day.

When we report the diagnosis, we will gladly discuss treatment plans with you, if desired.

Ongoing discussion occurs when you refer patients. After Heart Specialists of Ohio conducts therapeutic evaluation, we contact you about the treatment plan and update you on patient response.

Ordering is easy

Simply call our office to schedule a convenient time for your patient. Because we are required to have a written order for all services, we have made this easy, too. Download our order form, provide the necessary information and fax it to us.

Adolescent patients

Our practice dedicates itself to serving the adult cardiology patients of Central Ohio. For your patients who are under the age of 18, our cardiologists suggest that these patients be referred to a pediatric cardiologist. Because your adolescent patient's heart may still be changing, it is important that they be evaluated and treated by those who specialize in pediatric cardiology.
